Upload your curriculum, schemes of work, policies and tutor contracts. TutorTracer checks flagged teaching errors against your curriculum, and flagged conduct against your policies and contracts, and cites the page it relied on.
Free for 14 days or 400 lesson hours, whichever comes first. No card needed.
TutorTracer checks lessons against documents you provide. It doesn't write your policies or curriculum.
When a lesson is flagged for a possible teaching error, TutorTracer finds the most relevant passages in your curriculum documents and judges whether the tutor's approach, method and content are consistent with what your curriculum prescribes.
Upload your safeguarding policy, staff handbook and tutor agreements to the Policies & Contracts library. From any flagged issue, run a breach check and TutorTracer retrieves the relevant clauses and tells you whether the conduct appears to breach them.
Not every document applies to every lesson. Choose which documents are used for checks, and limit a document to particular tutors, students or tutor-student pairings. A document with no limits applies to all lessons.
Add PDFs of up to 20 MB to the Library: curriculum on its own tab, policies and contracts on the other. Scanned PDFs are read with OCR.
Each document is split into passages and indexed so the most relevant sections can be found for any lesson moment.
For a flagged issue, the closest passages are retrieved and an AI model compares the lesson quote against them.
You see the outcome, its confidence, a summary and the passages it relied on, next to the issue.
Make sure what's taught matches the specification, exam board or scheme of work you've promised families.
Tie conduct issues to the policy or contract clause they relate to, with the wording in front of you.
Schools and partners with their own schemes of work can have them checked against the lessons delivered for them.
No. TutorTracer checks lessons against curriculum, policy and contract documents that you upload. Your documents remain yours, and you stay in control of their content.
PDFs up to 20 MB each. Scanned PDFs are processed with OCR so their text can be searched.
They can run as part of lesson analysis for possible teaching errors, and you can run or re-run a check on any teaching-error issue from the Issues page.
The curriculum passages found don't address what the tutor was teaching, so TutorTracer can't say whether it aligns. It's a prompt to check whether the right document is uploaded and scoped to that lesson.
The check judges whether the tutor's method, terminology and coverage match what your curriculum prescribes. The original teaching-error flag is where factual mistakes are picked up.
Only people on your organisation's TutorTracer account. Documents are stored with the rest of your organisation's data. Passages are sent to our AI providers transiently when a check runs.
